We have recently migrated to a new server to bring us in line with the latest hosting technologies. During this migration we were able to swap our normal hard drives out with SSD drives.
What does this mean for you?
SSD drives read and write data at speeds which are 10x faster than standard hard drives.
This means your website data will be loaded at a much faster speed resulting in faster load times.
Do I need to do anything?
No. We have already ensured all of your data has been transferred across but if you do find any issues, please open a support ticket.
Changes to packages (Website Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Virtual Servers)
As a result of migrating to SSD's, our packages have been revised accordingly. SSD storage is more of a premium resulting in higher storage costs. We have reduced the standard package storage allocations and increased our pricing slightly to compensate the increased storage cost per GB.
Will I be charged the new prices?
Your current package price will not be affected but your storage has already been adjusted based on the new packages. If you wish to change your package then you will be charged the new prices.
